Hi, I'm Surabhi

CEO Coach, Founder, and Writer

I’ve built and exited two bootstrapped, 7-figure businesses over 20 years.

No investors. No playbook. Just constraints and consequences.

The lesson? Effort doesn’t determine success. Decision-making does — especially when resources are tight, and stakes are high.

Now I help founders make smarter calls so they can build businesses that last.

My Entrepreneurial Journey

From Lines of Code to Bottom Lines

2001

Landed in the US as a software engineer, wide-eyed and ready to conquer the startup world. Dreams were big, experience was small.

2005

Took the leap! Co-founded Tejora Technologies, soon serving Fortune 100 clients. Talk about a steep learning curve and sleepless nights!

2007

Caught the entrepreneurial bug again. Launched Elixir Fitness, diving headfirst into the retail sector. Double the challenges and double the growth.

2012

First major win – successfully exited Elixir Fitness. Lesson learned: building and selling a business is an art and a science.

2017

Life threw a curveball. Took sole leadership of Tejora amidst personal tragedy. Toughest year of my life, but also the most transformative.

2022

The big one – exited Tejora Technologies through a full buyout. Years of perseverance paid off, unlocking value and opening a new chapter.

Each milestone was a masterclass in business, leadership, and personal growth.
I Am a Coach Who Reads, Studies, and Writes

The Thinking Behind the Coaching

I read obsessively. Business, strategy, biographies, psychology and anything that helps me understand how businesses grow.

I study the founders who built iconic companies, not the headlines, but how they actually thought, decided, and operated. What they got right, what they got wrong, and what other founders can take from their experience. Explore my founder studies

The books that shaped my thinking are on my bookshelf with notes on what each one means for founders building today.

And I write. Everything I learn from reading, studying, and coaching feeds into my writing on five topics:

01
Founder Growth & Strategy

How founders scale themselves and their business at each stage

02
Revenue & Profit

The numbers that actually drive a business forward

03
Valuation & Exit

Building a business worth something, whether you sell or not

04
People & Leadership

Hiring, delegation, and the leadership shifts growth demands

05
Founder Thinking & Decision-Making

The mental models and judgment that sit underneath every good decision

The Work I Do

I help founders become Sharper CEO

Most founders I meet are good at what they do.

But nobody has taught them the business side of building a business. That’s the gap I close.

Founders who work with me walk away with three things:

1 Number Icon

Clarity

They begin to understand their business in a way they have never understood before. The numbers, the margins, where money goes, what's actually working. Decisions get easier when you can see the business as one system.

Number 2 Icon

Direction

They stop guessing where to grow and make deliberate expansion plans. The right offer, the right market, the right use of limited capital. Growth becomes intentional, not chaotic or accidental.

Number 3 icon

Capability

They become a sharper CEO. They build the habit of thinking clearly about their own business, and that compounds long after coaching ends.

Delegation, hiring, role structure.

Your Team

Delegation, hiring, role structure.
We build a team that runs the business, not just tasks.

Strategy and business model

Your Growth Direction

Strategy and business model.
Where to invest, what to stop, which path gives the best ROI.

How I Help

How My Work Accelerates Founder Progress

The success of a business is shaped by the decisions its founder makes.

Good founder decisions need three things:

1 Number Icon

Intelligence

Understanding how revenue, profit, people, and incentives interact inside a business

Number 2 Icon

Skills

The ability to operate, delegate, and build under real constraints.

Number 3 icon

Judgment

Choosing well when information is incomplete and trade-offs are unavoidable.

This is the work behind CEO Mastery and the focus of my 1 : 1 conversations when the stakes are high.
